Who built this, how our data works, and why you can trust the numbers.
ChinaRepTools is maintained by a small team of three people who have been buying from Chinese purchasing agents since 2019. Between us we have personally used and tested more than 20 agents — CNFans, Kakobuy, Superbuy, CSSBuy, Sugargoo, ACBuy, MuleBuy, BaseTao, OopBuy, HipoBuy, HooBuy, AllChinaBuy, and several others — across hundreds of individual orders to the US, EU, UK, and Australia.
We are not affiliated with any agent, brand, or retailer. We do not receive payments from agents to change rankings or recommendations. The fee data, Trustpilot scores, and shipping rate comparisons on this site reflect what we find when we check them, not what anyone paid us to say.
Service fees are verified directly from each agent's platform, typically once per month. When a fee structure changes — as happened when several agents moved to 0% in 2024–2025 — we update the affected pages within 7 days of the change appearing in community reports. Fee data sources: direct platform checks, Trustpilot review mentions, and r/FashionReps community threads where buyers document what they were charged.
Trustpilot scores and review counts are collected monthly from each agent's public profile. We record both the score and the review count because a 4.6/5 from 931 reviews (ACBuy) means something different from a 4.6/5 from 12 reviews. We flag scores based on small samples explicitly on the relevant agent page. Last collection: April 2026.
The Shipping Calculator uses carrier rate data updated quarterly. International freight rates change seasonally — Q1 and Q4 see significant shifts — so rates shown are estimates based on current carrier pricing, not guaranteed quotes. The calculator is for comparison and planning; always confirm the final rate in your agent's platform before committing to a shipment.
Beyond our own testing, we cross-reference findings with community sources: r/FashionReps (1.2M+ members), r/CNFans, individual agent subreddits, and community Discord servers. When community experience contradicts our direct testing — for example, a payment method that works in our account but is reported as failing in a specific country — we document both and note the discrepancy.
Personal testing means placing real orders, receiving QC photos, approving or rejecting items, shipping consolidated hauls internationally, and dealing with the edge cases: wrong items sent, lost packages, shipping overage refunds, return-to-seller processes. We have direct experience with:
Not all 52 agents reviewed on this site have been tested personally by our team — for smaller and newer platforms, we rely on Trustpilot review analysis, community reports, and operational status verification via tools like JadeShip's link converter. Where personal testing data is unavailable, we say so on the agent's page.
In 2023, converting a Weidian link for a different agent required manual URL editing that took 3–4 minutes and was error-prone. The Link Converter handles this in under 10 seconds. The fee calculation problem was the same: the math isn't hard, but doing it for 8 agents across 10 items on every haul session was tedious. The Fee Calculator does it instantly.
Every tool on this site started as a personal friction point that we solved for ourselves and then made available. The QC Checklist came from years of approving QC photos — learning which checkpoints actually matter per item type versus which ones are noise. The Agent Comparison came from the recurring question "which agent should I use" that has a different answer depending on your country, typical order size, and item categories.
This site contains referral links to purchasing agents and platforms. Referral links do not affect our editorial content — agent fee data, Trustpilot scores, and recommendations are determined independently of commercial relationships. When we recommend an agent or list it above others, it reflects the data, not the affiliate arrangement.
