How to Convert Rep Spreadsheet Links Between Agents

Rep community spreadsheets contain links to products on Weidian, Taobao, and 1688. These links are often formatted for a specific agent — a CNFans link won't open directly in Kakobuy. This guide explains the link formats, why they differ, and how to convert between them in seconds.

Why Rep Links Have Different Formats

When a community member finds a good seller on Weidian, they share the link in a spreadsheet. The raw Weidian URL looks like: https://weidian.com/item.html?itemID=12345678. But most community spreadsheets share it as an agent-formatted link — for example, a CNFans link wraps the same Weidian product URL with CNFans' own URL structure so it opens directly in the CNFans order system.

The product and seller are identical. Only the wrapper changes. A CNFans-formatted Weidian link and a Kakobuy-formatted Weidian link point to the same physical item from the same seller — one just opens in CNFans, the other in Kakobuy.

What the Link Converter Does

The Taobao link converter does two things:

1. Decodes the agent wrapper to extract the underlying Weidian, Taobao, or 1688 product URL
2. Re-encodes it for whichever agent you want to order from

Common Link Formats You'll Encounter

Legacy Links — Pandabuy and WegoBuy

Pandabuy and WegoBuy both shut down in 2025–2026. Community spreadsheets built during those platforms' active years still contain links in their format. These links can still be converted — the underlying Weidian and Taobao product URLs they wrap are still valid. The seller is still there; only the agent wrapper is broken.

What the Converter Doesn't Do

The converter doesn't check whether a seller is still active, whether an item is still in stock, or whether the price has changed since the link was first shared. It converts the link format — it can't verify what's on the other end of that link. Before ordering any item from a link more than 3 months old, verify the seller's shop is still active and the price hasn't changed significantly.
